を開催いたします。多くの皆様のご参加をお待ち申し上げております。

いつも日本糖質学会の活動にご協力いただきありがとうございます。
とりあえず、添付書類にありますように、日本糖質学会は本年11月5〜8日、米国ハワイ（ハワイ島のヒルトン・ワイコロア・ビレッジ・リゾート）で共催します米国糖鎖生物学協会（SfG）年会に参加する会員に対する支援を理事会にて決定致しました。

このSfG年会への参加について支援を希望する皆様には、添付要領（JSCRのHPにも掲載）を読んで応募いただきますよう、ご案内申しあげます。
今回の募集では年齢制限を設けておりませんが、1研究室あたり1名の学生または研究者（PIは含まれません）が対象となります。

2023年Society for Glycobiology (SfG) Annual Meetingが日本糖質学会の共催で開催されます。

本年2023年11月に米国ハワイにおいて2023年Society for Glycobiology (SfG) Annual Meetingが日本糖質学会の共催で開催されます。日本糖質学会 (JSCR) とSfGは、過去においても2004年と2014年にハワイにて日米共同年会を開催しており、友好関係を保ってきました。2023年の今回は共同開催ではありませんが、共催ということで8つあるセッションのひとつを「Glyco-Stream from Zipangu」という題目でJSCRが担当します。会議への登録や要旨締切などの詳細は今後、発表があり次第アナウンス致しますので、まずは、参加のご予定をしていただけますと幸いです。

Eurocarb21, the 21rst European Carbohydrate Symposium,
will take place from the 9th to the 13th of July 2023 in Paris
at the Maison de la Chimie.

Glyco26 開催延期のお知らせ (2023年8/27-9/1 開催へ)
日本糖質学会会員各位
IGOのNational Representativeの協議で、Glyco26は2023年8/27-9/1に開催が延期され、その後の各シンポジウムも順次２年間開催時期の変更することが合意されましたのでお知らせ致します。
これにより、Glyco28は2027年に日本開催となります。
Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,
The 26th International Symposium on Glycoconjugates, the glyco26, programmed for August 29th-September 3rd of this year, has been deferred to August 27th-September 1st, 2023. As you can imagine, it is with great disappointment and sadness that we have had to make this difficult decision. However, I think we are all in agreement that this was inevitable due to the pandemic covid-19 that seriously continues to affect all the world. The safety of the whole community remained the most important point to take the final decision.
We want to thank all the Colleagues that accepted- or programmed to attend the Glyco26.
In a second moment, I contacted the national representative that offered their efforts to organize the next glyco27, glyco28 and glyco29 in Vancouver (Canada), Japan and France, respectively, and informed on the necessity to progressively shift all the symposia of two years. They accepted this, and accordingly the next sequence will be: Taipei in 2023, Vancouver in 2025, Japan in 2027 and France in 2029
We very much look forward to welcoming you all to Taipei in 2023!
